Greece today celebrates the anniversary of the 1821 Revolution against the Ottoman Empire, which eventually led to the creation of the modern Greek State (internationally know as the “Greek war of independence”).

The current situation in our small county, however, is quite worrying. The image below summarizes it perfectly:

I couldn’t ever be more anxious about the future of this country than I am today. My last hope is that our people will — finally — wake up, become conscious of their duty as citizens and stand up against this dystopia in any way they can.
