Fellow entrepreneurs, pay attention: The recipe for success is simple!

• Get an idea which looks perfect to you. Try to convince your co-founders and a couple of founding engineers.
• Raise as much capital as you can. You never know when you’ll need it, it’s better to have some cash in the bank (and a high salary will make all-nighters a bit more tolerable)
• Don’t lose time talking to customers; at the end of the day, what do they know? The great idea is yours and only yours. Time matters, spend it wisely.
• Get your first version as complete and as polished as possible. You know that they say about first impression: There’s only one of it.
• Test the waters in our lovely Greece, don’t bother selling to international customers early. It’s already difficult enough, getting out of your comfort zone will turn it impossible. Get local traction first. You will ‘internationalize’ your business later.
